Today was an interesting day.
For once in a long while I was able to spend some time reading. Instead of sitting at my desk, I took my books to the front porch and read them there while enjoying a nice, mild day.
There’s still a little garden work that can be done.
I got some seed cane.
Then I planted it.
Then I simply wait until spring for it to sprout.
There were Marigold seed pods to pull.
Hopefully they will dry well and I can plant them around my spring garden.
Then I planted a small, pitiful looking lemon tree. It should do well in time.
Oh, and the children are fascinated with their chickens.
Now to wait for the last hour and a half to pass so that I can enjoy Monday Night Football. Saints vs Seahawks.
